Camp Watauga offers a short term Airstream rentals with private decks, fire pits, gas grills, linens, kitchen tools and serving sets. The property is waterfront with a beach and boat dock.

We offer the finest Airstream recreational vehicles. Our Airstreams are well appointed and meant to offer a luxury experience. Dual air conditioners and heaters on thermostats are provided for climate control. Off course they have hot water! Ok, the water heater is smaller than your house but large enough for a small group for a long weekend. Stand up showers in all units. The Airstreams are supplied with filtered city water with enough pressure we have to put regulators on the input. The fit and finish and warm feel of the Airstream blurs the line of camping and as much as we hate to say it, I see how "glamping" became a word!

Bring what you'd like for food and beverages. Bring sunscreen, beach towels, and equipment for whatever activities you plan to challenge. We've got the rest waiting for you. We supply firewood and a couple starters for the fire pit too.

Yes, we'd love for guests to enjoy the convenience of our dock to access the lake. There is a public boat ramp 800 feet to the north of our dock and your trailer can be left along the perimeter of the ramp facility. We are a small property and don't really have room for boats to stay on trailers. 

There are several guides in the area that could give you some options. We see anglers come back with bass and trout and you'll see many trolling for walleye in the lake. On the low side of the damn there is great trout fishing too.

There are a few items on a list we provide but also some reminders to not forget your phone chargers and anything you may have hung up in the closet. We only ask you bring anything back inside the Airstream that started there like pillow and blankets, throw out or take with you anything perishable, and turn the propane gas of for the gril and camper. We've got a great team that keeps things looking ship shape for everybody to enjoy.
